Reading Rotation

Reading Rotation

During Week Two we began exploring some of our Reading Activities which will support our Reading Programme.

In order to ensure we were all doing the right thing at the right time we decided to focus on the following criteria:
- Stay with our group
- Work together
- Stop when we heard the rainstick and wait for instructions

We provided a selection of reading activities which aimed to support our wide range of ages and abilities.
These included Poems, Book Corner, Writing Station, Imaginative Play, educational puzzles, ICT, Alphabet and Sound games, Oral Language Activities and Word work.
As the Term progresses we will explore more activities which will support our children's growing Literacy needs.

The children were engaged and enjoyed the opportunity to work with each other!

Parents and caregivers: you will be pleased and perhaps surprised to know that the tidying up was exceptional!
